Best Of – Cars and Coffee 2014

January 30, 2015 11:49 am

In anticipation of this Sunday’s first event of 2015, the AF team have chosen their 5 favourite cars and photos from all of last year’s events.

Lamborghini Countach – “It’s big, it’s red, it’s got pop-up headlights and there probably won’t be anything as game-changing, as poster-worthy ever again in the existence of super cars.”

Lamborghini Diablo VT – “I just like ’em.”

Ferrari F355 – “It looks great, has pop-up headlights and, IMO, stole the show from the DB5 in Goldeneye.”

Porsche 356 Speedster – “Just stunning.”

Lancia 037 Rally – “Opposite to the 356 speedster the 037 is raw and loud and still road legal (ish)”

Rolls-Royce Wraith and Ferrari GTO.

Ferrari Testarossa and our RENAULTsport Clio V6.

The crowds.

Our Lotus 340R.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corsa – “Raging bull. Finished in the superb Rosso Mars. More carbon, more wing and more glorious V10 wail!”

Ferrari Testaross – “Love the composition of this shot: the famous Ferrari shield and the simple, classic ‘star’ design of the Testarossa’s wheel”

Lancia 037 Rally – “The noise, the decals, the fact it’s on the road and when it rocked up, hundreds of people stopped dead and stared.”

Ferrari 246 GT Dino – “One of the prettiest Ferraris ever and stunning in Rosso Rubino Metallizzato.”

Pagani Zonda S – “One of my favourite all time cars and the only one in Australia.”

Porsche 356 Speedster – “The P-plate makes it. Achingly cool.”

So, that’s a wrap on our favourites of 2014. I wonder what’s in store for 2015?!

See you all on Sunday.
