Cars + Coffee – 1 February 2015

February 24, 2015 11:18 pm

The first of Sydney Automobile Club’s Cars & Coffee for 2015 attracted without a doubt its largest turnout yet. Whilst advertised as held at Cavallino Ristorante, the event has grown to occupy every road, street, commercial driveway and parking lot (including available patches of grass) found Terrey Hills-side of Mona Vale Road. And it’s the event’s increasing popularity which has attracted a greater array of vehicles, from the East to the West,

The old – a 1954 Nash Metropolitan;

and 1959 BMW Messerschmit.

And new – Porsche Boxster GTS.

The Peoples’ Choice would have been difficult, had our own 1998 Renault Spyder not been entered, contesting with a newly pearlescent-orange-wrapped Diablo;

Stunning Porsche 997 Sport Classic;

Drop-top-dead gorgeous Aston Martin DB4 Volante;

Very-’80s white Ferrari Testarossa;

And, an impeccably restored Ferrari 330GT 2+2.

Of particular interest to the Autofocus crew was the appearance of the newly-released RenaultSport Megane RS275 Trophy-R.

Whilst this pair certainly caught our ears’ attention.

Likewise this Ferrari F355, which brought back memories of the opening scene of 007 Goldeneye…

…then for this Martini-decaled 991 GT3 to leave our emotions not shaken, but stirred!

Which continued courtesy of this Alfa Romeo GTV2000;

and, all-the-boys 1975 Torana SLR.

As always there are plenty more photos to be enjoyed on our Flickr page. Catch you at next month’s meet!
