Cavallino Cars and Coffee – 12 April 2015

April 19, 2015 10:25 pm

An extra week’s break from the March event seemed to spur more people into action with a huge number of cars and spectators in attendance! The AutoFocus crew was represented by Stew, in his mint “panda” Toyota AE86 ‘Hachirocku’ and Alex/Rob in their newly refreshed RENAULTsport Clio 172 Phase 1, “Bort”.

Some modern Merc muscle, with this new C63 Black Edition.

And some retro Merc muscle, with this headturning 190E Evolution II:

Luke and his Dad’s immac Cooper S.

F12 alloy.

MP4-12C 50th Anniversary.

One of the cars of the day was this ultra rare STi 22B.

Gorgeous proportions on this Lotus Elite.

Another British Racing Green Lotus, this one a Europa in Type 62R spec.

“Walkinshaw” on Simmons wheels.

and a “Blue Meanie” on modern HDT wheels.

Cooper S with Tiffany rims!

Gorgeous black 911.

Maserati Merak – love the rear ‘strut’ defining the profile.

Stunning Imola Red E93 M3, lowered on CSL rims.

The B7 RS4 has still got it. This supercharged example sounded insane!

This old Corvette still pulls the crowds. Maybe it’s the ultra wide rubber?

A few of the AF crew – Dan’s 205 GTI, Steve’s 172 and Luke’s Mini.

The 997 GT3 RS will surely only ever rise in value? This example in Pure Orange, with matching roll cage, is just stunning.

Bimmer’s hybrid sportscar, the i8, making a hasty exit.

Another great morning, run superbly by the Sydney Automobile Club. As usual, please see our Facebook and Flickr pages for more photos!
