Cavallino Cars and Coffee – End of Year – Part 1 – 7 December 2014

December 29, 2014 11:27 am

The final event of the year for Sydney Automobile Club’s Cavallino Cars and Coffee was held on Sunday 7 December. With perfect weather conditions, this was by far the biggest meet yet with interesting cars as far as the eye could see and the creme de la creme of Peoples’ Choice Award winners all on display in the main car park, up for voting in the Car of the Year award.

Walking from our parking spot, we spotted a pair of nice ‘weiß’ sportcars.

We opted to start our exploration in the main car park display, where there was a very rare Railton.

With a lovely timber interior.

Past C&C favourite, the Lancia 037 rally special.

A meticulously restored VW Beetle, complete with picnic set.

This grey F430 Scuderia was a nice alternative to the default Ferrari red.

The carbon fibre, exhaust and splitter detailing is very neat.

AMG C63 race car wearing HREs.

Our RENAULTsport Clio V6 was well received, with lots of people asking questions, taking photos and generally admiring her.

Behind us was the super cool and inflating-in-value Diablo SV, wearing very appropriate AMORE plates.

Lotus Europa, powered by a Renault 8G motor.

Super cars should wear super bright colours – 650S.

My vote for best recent super car, the Pagani Zonda S.

The attention to detail and design flair is just outstanding.

Huracan. I really do prefer the angular aesthetic with the proportions of the Huracan when compared to its big brother.

Family hauler – RS 4.

Stunning colour and wheel combo on this E92 M3.

So much love for @diabloinoz’s VT Diablo.

A simple, functional interior aimed solely at the driving experience. I love open-gate shifters.

A gorgeous AM DB-6.

Classic C1 Corvette in period correct red and white.

Part 2, coming soon.
